Description
This course is intended for employees responsible for the handling, offering for transport, or transportation of dangerous goods by ground in accordance with the requirements of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations (or TDGR) in Canada. It provides the required elements of general awareness training, function-specific training, as well as the emergency response assistance plans requirements unique to Canada.

Navigation of the TDGR regulations to determine requirements for the safe transportation of dangerous goods, including:

- Purpose and use of the Schedules
- Documentation
- Safety marks on small means of containment
- Safety marks on large means of containment
- Means of containment
- ERAPs & Reporting
- Cross border shipments
Target Audience:
Dangerous goods employees and their supervisors who work for shippers, carriers, freight forwarders, third party logistics companies, and who handle, package, mark, label, placard, prepare packages, validate shipping documents, address customer returns, and/or offer dangerous goods by ground to, from or within Canada.
