Description
Nearly every API response, configuration file, and data exchange a developer touches is shaped by JSON, and this course builds a working command of it from the ground up. You'll see how JSON data structures are put together and how they're implemented in real software, so you can contribute to any project that moves structured data between systems — regardless of the language, framework, or library involved.
The course was designed for developers who need to read, write, and reason about JSON in their everyday work, but the material is equally useful for architects, testers, and product managers who want to understand how structured data flows through a development environment.
No previous JSON experience is needed. Ideally you'll bring a modest knowledge of HTML and JavaScript — familiarity with JavaScript frameworks or the Java programming language is a plus — but learners missing those pieces can pause to do some background research and still come away with a solid foundation. Consider it the quickest route from recognizing JSON to working with it anywhere.

Target Audience
This course was built for software developers who need to understand how to work with JSON data structures in all development efforts regardless of language framework or library used.
This course is designed for those developers who need to learn JSON to be able to effectively participate in projects implementing the technology. Of course the info presented here is just as valuable for architects testers and product managers as they too should understand how JSON is structured and used in a software development environment.

A at least a modest knowledge of HTML and JavaScript. Ideally the student should be familiar with JavaScript frameworks and libraries and the Java programming language. If the student has only some or even none of these skills he/she will still benefit from this course greatly but may need to pause a video in progress to perform some additional background research. This is encouraged as it'll only make for a better overall experience and net benefit.
NO JSON EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!!!
