It can be useful to look to another form of leadership for advice in this area: coaching. Coaches have to handle all types of players, to get them to work together to achieve their collective goal. It's the same setup in the workplace. Coaching is a skill that we can learn and then follow as a process with all of our employees, and that's what we'll be covering in this series of courses. In this first program, we'll introduce you to the various types of "players" you may encounter on your team, and how to adapt your coaching to successfully manage each type.
