PTSD is when a person has difficulty recovering after experiencing or witnessing a terrifying or dangerous event. The condition may last months or years, with triggers bringing back memories of the trauma, accompanied by intense emotional and physical reactions, like flashbacks and panic attacks. In this program, we'll talk about what post-traumatic stress disorder looks like for those who suffer from it, and we'll go over ways to support coworkers living with PTSD.
